lexiiii, I’d get it done by a professional if I were you. It’s not that expensive and greatly reduce risks. For ears, I would say sure, go for it, but not for the belly.

Well on my belly button its kinda of an innie outie because the top is an innie and the bottom is an outie to a point soo would I b able to get my belly piereced or not I’m soo confused my friend said to get it pro done but my mom already bought the needles to do herself like for her to do my belly button.. .I’m soo confused!!! PLEASE HELP

I don’t think you can use a stud ring to pierce it with because you have the back that you would have to attach to it. But there should be a way that outty owners should be able to enjoy piercings too.

I’ve had my belly button pierced for about 10 years. Personally I don’t recommend changing your ring until you are fully healed and it’s no longer bleeding when slight tugs happen to it. If you can tug on it without it hurting, then you should start changing your rings. I LOVE the spiral rings.

i got my belly pierced a bit longer than a month ago, trying to change the balls was difficult because i was using pliers and they slipped and cut the top part of the hole, it hurt! be careful!

Sou brasileira, nao falo ingles! mas traduzi o texto acima, achei muito interessante. Tenho algumas duvida… Meu umbigo é para fora, ou “outie” como voces dizem. Eu quero colocar um piercing mas tenho medo de nao ficar legal pelo meu umbigo ser para fora. Gostaria de saber se realmete é possivel colocar piercing em um umbigo como o meu sem a necessidade de nenhuma cirurgia de correçao.

I have a few piercings in my ears… I just got my Cartilege done almost a year ago, and when the piercer put the earring in it was sergical steel… my ear hurt for a long time (longer than normal healing time), and was ALWAYS red! So I finally took it out and put real gold in my ear, it hasn’t hurt since then. So my thinking is that I am allergic to sergical steel (as my mother is also) so I’m kind of unsure about getting my belly button pierced because I don’t know if there are gold rings, and the cost of them!? Anyone have a suggestion please??

oh and for Caitlyn I think that you should get your belly button pierced! I deffinatly think it will look just as cute, if not cuter! haha Go for it girl!
